At the end of every session, we transfer your raw files directly to your drive on-site. No upload time. No fees. No waiting. Just plug in, transfer, and walk out with everything you recorded.

What to bring

Not all drives are equal when it comes to large video files. The wrong drive can turn a 10-minute transfer into an hour-long wait — potentially eating into your session time or post-session schedule.

Best choice

Portable SSD — USB 3.1 or 3.2

Samsung T7, SanDisk Extreme, WD My Passport SSD. Fast, reliable, compact. Handles large 4K files without breaking a sweat. This is what we recommend for every session.

Works fine

Portable SSD — USB 3.0

Still fast enough for most sessions. If you already have a USB 3.0 SSD, it'll work well for 1080p and shorter 4K sessions. Minimum we'd recommend bringing.

Avoid

Spinning hard drive or USB 2.0

These will significantly slow your transfer — especially for multi-camera 4K sessions. What should take minutes can take hours. Please don't bring these for video file transfer.

Storage guide

How much space do I need?

We shoot in 1080p by default. 4K is available for any session — just let us know at booking. File sizes below are calculated at 100Mbps (the FX30's recording bitrate at PP3). 4K and 1080p produce identical file sizes at this bitrate — the difference is resolution, not storage.

Starter — 1 camera

1.5-Hour Block (1 hr recording)~45GB

2.5-Hour Block (2 hrs recording)~90GB

4-Hour Block (3.5 hrs recording)~157GB

8-Hour Block (7.5 hrs recording)~337GB

Creator / Producer — 3 cameras

1.5-Hour Block (1 hr recording)~135GB

2.5-Hour Block (2 hrs recording)~270GB

4-Hour Block (3.5 hrs recording)~472GB

8-Hour Block (7.5 hrs recording)~1TB

Always bring more space than you think you need. Creator and Producer 4-Hour and 8-Hour sessions produce very large files — a 1TB or 2TB SSD is strongly recommended for those bookings.

No drive? No problem.

Cloud delivery pricing

Forget your drive or don't have one yet? We can upload and deliver your files via cloud link within 2–3 business days. Fees are based on your session tier, length, and resolution — because larger sessions mean significantly more upload time on our end.

💡 Bringing a drive is always the better option

On-site transfer is immediate, free, and puts your files in your hands before you leave the building. Cloud delivery is a convenience service for those who need it — not a replacement for bringing a fast drive.
